Your crews run the day from their phones: clocking in, checking the day's stops, taking job photos, and getting customer signatures. The office runs the business from the web dashboard. The app puts that same dashboard, crew screens included, on every crew member's phone under your company's name.

ArborDash builds a separate iOS and Android app for each company. Your icon sits on the home screen with your company name under it, the App Store listing carries your company name, and the screens inside use the logo and colors from your ArborDash branding settings.

Inside the app, crews get the day's stops, one-tap directions in Google Maps, an I've Arrived button, GPS clock-in and clock-out, job checklists, chemical application logs, job photos tagged before, during, or after, customer signatures, and team chat with the office. The app needs a data connection to open, but if signal drops mid-route, job status changes, checklist ticks, and clock-outs wait on the phone and save when the connection comes back. Customers don't install anything. They approve and sign estimates, pay invoices, and check on their work in your branded web portal.

The iOS app goes on the App Store as an unlisted app, so it doesn't show up in search and only people you send the link to will find it. The Android app is a direct APK download with no Play Store listing to manage. ArborDash publishes the iOS app through its own Apple Developer account and builds and signs the Android APK for you, so you never have to set up an Apple Developer account or learn App Store Connect.

What's included

  • iOS app named after your company, on an unlisted App Store link you share with your crew
  • Android app as a direct APK download, no Google Play account needed
  • Your logo as the app icon on every device's home screen
  • Your logo and colors on the screens inside the app, taken from your branding settings
  • Crew time tracking with GPS clock-in and clock-out, and hours that export to a payroll CSV
  • Job updates and photos uploaded straight from the field
  • Push notifications on Android, under your app's name, for team chat, incoming calls, task assignments, and new leads
  • Background GPS so dispatch sees crew locations live
  • Customer portal on the web in your branding, where customers approve estimates and pay invoices without installing anything
  • Weak-signal saves that hold job status changes, checklist ticks, and clock-outs on the phone until the connection comes back

How It Works

  1. In Settings, set your company name, upload a square app icon, and connect your custom dashboard domain.
  2. On the Mobile App tab, click Generate Android App or Generate iOS App.
  3. The Android app is ready to download when the build finishes. For iOS, the ArborDash team sets up your App Store listing and Apple reviews it, which usually takes about a week.
  4. Once Apple approves, the install link goes to your account owner to share with your crew. ArborDash updates reach the app as soon as they ship, with no store update to wait on.
  5. Changed your icon or company name? Click Rebuild on the Mobile App tab. Each company gets three finished builds per platform; contact support if you need more.

Your crew installs YOUR app, not ours

Most field service software gives your crew the vendor's app, with the vendor's name on the home screen. With ArborDash, a new hire installs an app called your company name, with your icon on their home screen, and signs in to screens that carry your logo and colors.

Hand your crews a real app. With your name on it.

Branded iOS and Android apps are included once your custom domain is set up. Try ArborDash free for 14 days, and we'll talk through publishing as part of onboarding.

Mobile Apps FAQ

Are these real native apps or just a wrapper?
Each one is a real iOS or Android app, installed from the App Store or an APK file, that runs your ArborDash dashboard inside a native shell built with Capacitor. Unlike a browser tab, the shell keeps GPS reporting with the screen off, and on Android it also delivers push notifications. The screens load from ArborDash's servers, so the app needs a data connection to open, and dashboard updates reach it as soon as they ship.
Do I need an Apple Developer account?
No. ArborDash publishes your iOS app through its own Apple Developer account, so you don't pay Apple's $99/year fee or learn App Store Connect. The Android app is a direct APK download, so there's no Google Play account or fee either.
How does my crew get the app?
The iOS app is unlisted, so it doesn't show up in App Store search. When Apple approves it, the install link is emailed to your account owner, and you send it to your crew by text or email. The Android app downloads as an APK from the Mobile App page in your dashboard. The first time, a crew member may need to allow installs from their browser.
How long does first-time publishing take?
The Android app is ready to download as soon as its build finishes. For iOS, the ArborDash team sets up your App Store listing, usually within one business day. Apple then approves unlisted distribution (usually two to three business days) and reviews the app (usually 24 to 48 hours), so plan on about a week. After that, ArborDash updates reach the app as soon as they ship. Only a change to the app itself, like a new icon or company name, needs a rebuild.
Is there a separate app for my customers?
No. Customers use your branded web portal on any phone or computer to approve and sign estimates, pay invoices, and see scheduled and completed work. There's nothing for them to install.
